North Pine Investors monthly meeting

CROSSLAKE—North Pine Investors will meet 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, at the Crosslake Community Center.

The mission of this partnership is to educate and strengthen the partners' understanding of investing and gain hands-on experience in analyzing stocks and interpreting financial statements.

Partners invest $30 each month for stock purchases. For those with an interest in learning about investing, come to a meeting.

Pinetree Patchworkers Quilt Club meeting set

BAXTER—The Pinetree Patchworkers Quilt Club will meet 6:30 p.m. Monday, June 10, at the Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 6190 Fairview Road, Baxter.

This will be the last meeting before the June 21-22 quilt show. The group will go over the final plans for the show and complete the volunteer lists.

Guests are welcome. Show and tell will complete the meeting.

Brainerd Legion upcoming events

The Legion Riders will meet 7 p.m. Monday, June 10.

The 40 et 8 will meet 3 p.m. Tuesday.

Minnesota Darkhouse and Angling Association will meet 7 p.m. Wednesday.

On Friday, June 14, chili dog and chips for $4 will be available until 4 p.m. The special dinner will be jumbo shrimp for $13. Walleye dinner is also available for $11.50. Serving begins at 5 p.m.

Brat sale fundraiser for Cystic Fibrosis Foundation

BAXTER—There will be a brat sale 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, June 13-15, at Super One Foods.

All proceeds will go to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Class of 1966 to meet

Class of 1966 will meet for lunch at 11:30 a.m. Monday, June 10, at Ernies on Gull.

Hackensack American Legion Auxiliary breakfast

HACKENSACK—Hackensack American Legion Auxiliary Unit No. 202 will serve breakfast from 8:30-11:30 a.m. June 16 at the Club.

Menu includes choice of pancakes, bacon and eggs or eggs, hash browns, bacon and toast. Both include juice and coffee for $6. The proceeds go to support youth scholarships.

The Center's Morning Club meeting set

The Center's Morning Club meets 9:30 a.m. Wednesdays at The Center, 803 Kingwood St., Brainerd.

Speaker is Emily Lanin. She will speak about the Brainerd Lakes Race for the Cure.

The Brainerd Garden Club will meet 1 p.m. Friday, June 14, at Northland Arboretum.

Program will be new ideas in container gardens presented by Tracey Srock.

Geritol Frolics summer picnic planned for Thursday

CROSSLAKE—The Geritol Frolics will have its annual summer picnic beginning 11 a.m. Thursday, June 13, at the Crosslake Campgrounds.

All former members of the Geritol Frolics are invited to attend and are encouraged to bring a dish to share.

Gardeners' night out event

NISSWA—Gardeners wanting to talk to other gardeners or a new gardener wanting to learn more, are invited to the last Gardeners' Night Out event 6:30-8 p.m. Thursday, June 13, at the Main Street Ale House Oxcart Room in Nisswa.

After a social time, a question-and-answer program on growing vegetables will be presented at 7 p.m.

The free event is sponsored by The Nisswa Garden Club.

BSU Brainerd Area Alumni event set

The Bemidji State University Brainerd Area Alumni will have an event 5-7 p.m. Thursday, June 13 at Roundhouse Brewery, 1551 Northern Pacific Road, Brainerd. This was previously scheduled to take place at Gull Dam Brewery in Nisswa.

Meet other BSU alumni in the area, learn about upcoming events and connections. There will be door prizes.

There will also be a tour of the Northern Pacific Center and brewery for those interested.
