The annual Nisswa City of Lights festival will be a drive-thru event Friday, Nov. 27.

Revelers are invited to drive through town at their leisure and check out the light displays or visit Santa and Mrs. Claus in the First Western Bank and Trust drive-thru from 5-7 p.m. Stores will still be open for shopping and fireworks will start at 7:30 p.m.

The encore on Saturday, Nov. 28, will come in the form of Small Business Saturday where shoppers are encouraged to shop at local small businesses, hunt for the hidden medallion and win prize drawings at the Nisswa Chamber of Commerce.

This year's $5 City of Lights buttons will qualify shoppers to access deals at several participating retailers. In addition, shoppers have the chance to win a two-night stay at Quarterdeck Resort on Gull Lake.

To enter, shoppers must make a purchase at participating businesses and drop off their receipt at the Nisswa Chamber of Commerce any time from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 28. The drawing will be at 5 p.m. and entrants need not be present to win.
