Crosslake is famous for its St. Patrick's Day celebrations and while this year it may look a little different, organizers are hoping it might be the most fun visitors have ever had.
The Crosslake Chamber of Commerce plans events Friday-Sunday, March 12-14, throughout Crosslake.
They ask participants to dig out their costume box and join in shenanigans throughout the community to help strengthen businesses with an economic boost while celebrating this Irish holiday Crosslake style.
The chamber asks residents and businesses to participate in the first-ever decorating contest. Participants will decorate their businesses and homes instead of parade floats to show that the community is still celebrating and customers are still welcome.
The Lucky Leprechaun Amazing Race will take place where participants will travel all over town to locate businesses and landmarks, complete missions and earn points. Progress will be tracked using mobile devices that will also show other participants on a leaderboard.
This free competition is open to individuals or teams who are eligible to win prizes valued at thousands of dollars.
More details will be available through the Crosslake Chamber of Commerce.
