The residents at Good Samaritan Society-Woodland Senior Living enjoyed lovely weather as they ride or stroll through the Woodland Flag Walk.

Other events to celebrate the day included a Flag Day ceremony complete with a flag folding demonstration, 21 gun salute and taps played by the combined Honor Guard of the Disabled American Veterans, American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Following the Flag Day ceremony was music by Jim Olsen.

Residents also enjoyed a "freedom dog" lunch, sides and an ice cream treat. All residents and their families were encouraged to enjoy the Flag Day Walk throughout the day.
