Lakes Area Writers Alliance is hosting its annual writer conference on Oct. 30

The theme is “Become A Better Writer In One Day.”

Writers and aspiring writers are invited to attend the Book Writing Master Class writing conference on Oct. 30, at the Northland Arboretum.

The theme is “Become A Better Writer In One Day.” It will be presented both in person and online. This event is sponsored by Lakes Area Writers Alliance, a nonprofit organization that works to inspire, enrich and educate writers in the Brainerd lakes area.

This year’s conference will bring together acclaimed national and international best-selling authors to share their expertise and provide attendees with inspiration and encouragement to take the next step toward fulfilling their writing dreams. The morning session will include presentations by Joe Prosit, “Ignite Your Story,” and Heidi Skarie, “Create Your World.” The afternoon session will include presentations by Candace Simar, “Write Deeper,” and a panel lead by Carissa Andrews, “Hone Your Craft.”

For those who cannot attend in-person but wish to participate, a link will be provided to access the event online. All participants will receive access to the replay after the event.
