CROSSLAKE -- Julie Jo Larson has visited many family, small and large cemeteries in the county.
Through research at the Crow Wing County Historical Society, interviewing area historians and by reading several history books, her group -- the MsStorians, a women’s history group -- has discovered many lost local family cemeteries. Larson will share some cemetery lore and show photos of some of Crow Wing County’s oldest cemeteries 7 p.m. July 24 at the Historic Log Village in Crosslake.
Refreshments will be served following the program with the opportunity to meet and greet Larson.
The presentation is sponsored by the Crosslake Area Historical Society and donations will be accepted.
