Lowering the Beans: A Pequot Lakes tradition

This year is the 80th anniversary of Bean Hole Days in Pequot Lakes. Wednesday, July 11, the five kettles will be opened and the community will be served the renowned meal. The kettles are placed underground on hot coals for the night to cook.
