Steph Swanson recently joined the creative team of Brainerd-based advertising agency Strateligent as a copywriter. Swanson brings years of experience as a wordsmith in the financial services industry—transforming complex retirement rules and regulations into easy-to-understand language. She has written thought-leadership articles, produced education materials, developed multimedia-marketing campaigns, and contributed regularly to an online, monthly newsletter. Whether it’s educational, motivational, or transactional copy, Swanson uses simple, but powerful, words to write memorable content that elicits action and spurs change—something many companies across the country are learning they can’t live without. “Our need for multiple copywriters isn’t unique. Capturing and telling a good story, and doing it in sound-bite form is what makes successful businesses, organizations, and communities,” said Aaron Hautala, Strateligent’s creative director and owner. “It’s not enough to just be there, to be present—it’s now imperative to have a forward-leaning communication campaign that attracts fellow advocates and not only achieves sales goals, but creates a movement upon itself.” Swanson graduated from Bemidji State University with a bachelor’s degree in marketing communication and mass communication. When she’s not writing, she enjoys reading, crocheting, and spending time outdoors with her family. STRATELIGENT provides a full continuum of communication services online, in print, and via video to businesses throughout the midwest and the west coast.
