The National Street and Shelter Point-In-Time Count for those experiencing homelessness, or doubled up, will be 8 a.m. to noon and 1-3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, at the Salvation Army, 208 S. Fifth St., Brainerd.
People are considered doubled up when in precarious housing situations-meaning they were staying in another person's home without the protection of a lease, for example. Those who attend should fill out a short survey.
There will be refreshments, coats, gloves and hats for people taking the survey while supplies last.
The numbers from the annual point-in-time count are used to help set funding for homeless programs.
