In commemoration of Flag Day, Honor Guards with the Brainerd VFW and Brainerd American Legion walked around the Good Samaritan Society-Woodland campus the morning of Monday, June 15, as residents in senior living and long-term care waved flags from their windows.
The Honor Guards made a stop at each of the veterans’ windows, saluting with special bugle songs. They performed five 21-gun firing ceremonies with taps in different areas throughout the campus.
