Disabled American Veterans to meet

The monthly meeting for the Disabled American Veterans, Crow Wing County Chapter No. 22, will be 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, at the Brainerd VFW Club.

The face covering and social distancing rules for the COVID-19 pandemic will be observed.

Chapter 22 officers meeting will begin at 6 p.m.

Brainerd Eagles Club to serve breakfast

Brainerd Eagles Club will serve breakfast from 8:30 a.m. to noon Sunday, Feb. 14, at 124 Front St., Brainerd, featuring the Eagles’ special for $8.

Face mask required/social distancing practices will be observed.

Nisswa Women’s Club to meet

The Nisswa Women's Club will meet at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, via Zoom.

The program will be “A Philosophy of Travel” presented by club member Claudia Allene. Her company “Claudia Around The World Tours” is a specialized travel company focusing on small group tours of no more than 16 people and exploring many of the world’s most exotic destinations.

The inspiration will be presented by Jane Gunsbury.

Hackensack American Legion Auxiliary to serve breakfast

HACKENSACK -- Hackensack American Legion Auxiliary Unit 202 will serve breakfast from 8:30-11:30 a.m. Feb. 21 at the Club. Menu includes choice of pancakes, bacon and eggs or biscuits and gravy with eggs. Both include juice and coffee for $7. The proceeds go to support youths scholarships.
