HACKENSACK — Hackensack American Legion Auxiliary Unit 202 will serve breakfast from 8:30-11:30 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 19, at the Club.

Pinetree Patchworkers Quilt Club meeting planned for Monday
BAXTER — The Pinetree Patchworkers Quilt Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 13, at the Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 6190 Fairview Road, Baxter.
Guest speaker will be Shellie Reeci, a finalist in all six of the Cherrywood Challenges. A business meeting will follow.
Brainerd American Legion Auxiliary to have special meat raffle
The Brainerd American Legion Auxiliary will have a special meat raffle at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 17, at the Legion.
Proceeds raised by this meat raffle will go to Bridges of Hope.

The Washington High School class of 1967 will meet 11:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 17, at the "On The Rocks" restaurant in Grand View Lodge, 23521 Nokomis Ave., Nisswa.
Disabled American Veterans meeting planned for Sept. 16
The monthly meeting for the Disabled American Veterans Crow Wing County Chapter No. 22 will be 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 16, at the Brainerd VFW club.
The Chapter 22 officers meeting will begin at 6 p.m.

Nisswa Women’s Club to meet at Drummond Winery
The Nisswa Women’s Club will meet 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 16, at Drummond Winery.
Ron Miles, a local naturalist and historian, will share the history of the Ox Cart Trails which were an important part of the early transportation system between St. Paul and the Red River Valley. Goods and passengers were hauled by ox cart along the Mississippi, through the Pillager Gap, and northwest through the Red River Valley.
Candy Barnack is leading the inspiration, and Karen DeVries will preside over the annual meeting and election of officers. Drummond Winery is serving lunch. The luncheon charge is $20. The wait staff at the Winery will not be masked, so we strongly advise that only vaccinated guests attend this luncheon, and that they wear a mask, removing it only while eating.
