American Association of University Women to meet Monday

American Association of University Women will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 27, in the Fellowship Hall of the First Congregational United Church of Christ, 415 Juniper St., Brainerd.

The theme of this meeting will be Post COVID-19 Transition, Reconnection, Welcome Back.

All members and guests will be expected to be vaccinated and wearing masks except when eating. Light refreshments will be served.

Senior dances planned

Senior dances will be 1-4 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 29, at Waukenabo Town Hall with music by Frank and Fran; and from 1-4 p.m. Friday at the Deerwood Legion with music by Two For The Road.

Parkinson’s Disease Support Group meeting set for Oct. 7

BAXTER — The Brainerd Lakes Area Parkinson’s Disease Support Group will meet at 1 p.m. Oct. 7, at Lord of Life Church, 6190 Fairview Road, Baxter.

There will be a presentation on Deep Brain Stimulation. Call 218-829-4017 for questions. Masks are required at the church.
