Sunday liquor sales
Maybe if you owned a liquor store in Moorhead or Stillwater it might make sense for Sunday sales, but for the majority of Minnesota cities it will only raise costs.
For example, let’s say the liquor stores in Brainerd and Baxter average 5,000 cases of beer per week being open six days.
Opening up on Sunday will not increase that 5,000 figure — just spread it out over 7 days rather than 6. But the store owners costs (labor) will go up.
The result — the public will be paying more for their beer/wine/spirits.
