Cross-Country: Four named Warrior MVPs

Bridget Collins, Ethan Klisch, Thomas Ruhl and Adam Cady were all named Brainerd Warriors cross-country running MVPs at the team’s award banquet.

Collins was named MVP of the girls' team that placed ninth in the Section 8-2A meet Friday, Oct. 16.

Klisch, Ruhl and Cady were named boys’ team MVP after they helped the Warriors finish third in the section meet Thursday, Oct. 15.

Warrior Awards went to Emma Storbakken and Lily Schaeffer, while Atticus Osborne and Ryan Cady picked up the honor on the boys’ side.

Storbakken, Ryan Cady and Osborne were named hardest workers.

Brook Wenz, Ryan Cady and Ben Stadem earned Rookie of the Year honors.

Annie Gearey, Madi Miller and Osborne were Most Improved and Junior varsity Most Valuable runners were Julia Rademacher and Gabe Maurer.

Klisch was a Class 2A State meet qualifier. Adam Cady was Academic All-State.

Both the boys and girls teams earned Team Academic Gold standard. The Warrior girls team grade-point average was 4.15. The boys finished with a 4.04 GPA.
