Holly Avelsgard and Darren Clausen were united in marriage July 12, 2014, at First Lutheran Church of Parkers Prairie with the Rev. Kendall Stelter officiating.
Parents of the couple are Jeff and Cheryl Avelsgard of Deerwood, Judy Kunde, of Dawson, and the late Lonnie Clausen.
Maid of honor was Kate Koop, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Heidi Sachariason, sister of the groom; Bobbie Albers, sister of the groom; and Jeenah Archambault, friend of the bride. Flower girl was Chloe Sachariason, niece of the groom; and personal attendant was Kelsey Brink, friend of the bride.
Best man was Jeff Sachariason, brother-in-law/friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Bill Preble, cousin of the groom; Al Albers, brother-in-law of the groom; and Andy Homman, friend of the groom. Ring bearer was Max Albers, nephew of the groom. Ushers were Keith Kunde, stepfather of the groom; and Jack Homman, friend of the groom. Special music was provided Heidi Sachariason and Chris Lehne.
Holly is a graduate of Aitkin High School and Ridgewater College in Willmar. Darren is a graduate of Dawson-Boyd High School and Southwest Minnesota State University.
