Benefit event

Grammy nominated artist Jaci Velasquez will perform at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, at Cragun’s Sports Center at Cragun’s Resort on Gull Lake. Velasquez is the entertainment for a concert and dinner benefit for the Freedom Ranch. The event, sponsored by Rising Hope Foundation, begins at 5:30 p.m. with a social hour and dinner at 6 p.m. Cost to attend is $40 per person and tickets can be ordered by phone at 800-965-9324 or online at www.itickets.com/events/434235.

Auditions

Brainerd Community Theatre hosts auditions for Arthur Miller’s drama “All My Sons,” 7 p.m. Oct. 7 and Oct. 9, Chalberg Theatre at Central Lakes College. Rehearsals will begin the week of Oct. 14.
