‘Her Crooked Heart’

Minneapolis singer/songwriter Rachel Ries will perform with her music group “Her Crooked Heart,” 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, Central Lakes College. The show debuts the Dryden Theatre Cabaret Series of events, a subset of the Central Lakes Community Performing Arts Center’s Cultural Arts Series. Grassroots Concerts series

Cuckoo Bees, a trio from Duluth, perform at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8, at the Live Well Nightclub and Coffee Bar in the Journey Church, next to the Nisswa Elementary School. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children under 12 with listening attention when accompanied by an adult. Seating is first-come, first-served.
