Blue-collar, Tennessee-native Larry Fleet will perform at 4 p.m. June 26 on Lakes Jam’s Bud Light Main Stage at Brainerd International Raceway, north of Brainerd on Highway 371.
Lakes Jam is an outdoor music festival that combines country and rock with premier camping. This year’s event will be presented by Farm Bureau Financial Services. The artists will perform on the Bud Light Main Stage June 24-26, with gates opening at 4 p.m. each day.
Fleet grew up with a love of music sparked by an eclectic mix of influences spanning from Merle Haggard to Marvin Gaye, Red Light Management stated in his bio. To make ends meet, Fleet spent tireless hours working construction jobs — but never losing his dream of making music. A chance encounter with Jake Owen in 2017 led to a collaborative friendship and an opening slot on the road with Owen, who also performed in Lakes Jam in 2017. Not long after, Fleet was sharing the stage with a living legend and one of his heroes — Willie Nelson – and etching his mark in the Nashville songwriting community co-writing with esteemed tunesmiths including Rhett Akins, Brett James and Kendell Marvel, the bio stated.
Fleet’s debut single “Where I Find God,” garnered the artist praise for his “emotive vocals” and the song’s official music video continues to resonate with fans, amassing six million-plus YouTube views.
