Author Philip Hunsicker will appear with his recently released mystery novel, “The Old Crocodile Man Theory,” 1-3 p.m. Sunday, outside at Roundhouse Brewery in Nisswa. Hunsicker’s band, Hans Blix and the Weapons Inspectors, will also play some music to celebrate the release of his first novel.

Bead-making classes

The Morrison County Historical Society is hosting two bead-making classes at 1-2:30 p.m. Saturday and June 26 at the Charles A. Weyerhaeuser Memorial Museum in Little Falls. Classes will be outdoors at the museum, weather permitting, with masking and distancing required. Cost of the class is $5 per person and $3 for members of the historical society. Dancing with the Lakes Area Stars

Dancing with the Lakes Area Stars, a fundraiser for Lakes Area Habitat for Humanity, will be June 17, at The Brainerd Exchange at the Northern Pacific Center. A social hour with hors d'oeuvres will run 5:30-6:30 p.m. and performances begin at 6:45 p.m. Tickets are $75 per person.
