Free Fallin’ concert

Central Lakes Community Performing Arts Center Cultural Arts Series presents Free Fallin’, a Minnesota band that celebrates the music of Tom Petty, with a concert at 7 p.m. Oct. 2 on the John Chalberg stage at Central Lakes College in Brainerd. This concert is part of the Central Lakes Community Performing Arts Center’s 2021-22 Cultural Arts Series.

Paul Bunyan Play

Stage North Theatre Co. presents “Paul Bunyan: The Man, The Myth, The Musical” at the Franklin Arts Center in Brainerd. Performances are set for 7:30 p.m. Oct. 8, 9, 15, 16 and 2 p.m. Oct. 10 and 17. Tickets by calling 218-232-6810.

Great River Arts events

Jason Schommer and Michael Shynes will perform “Straight Outta Quarantine,” at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 1 at Great River Arts in Little Falls.

Layne Yost will perform his John Denver Tribute concert at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 8 at Great River Arts.

Pequot Lakes Community Theatre presents

Pequot Lakes Community Theatre will present “Superhero Support Group,” a one-hour comedy, opening Oct. 9 at Pequot Lakes High School Theatre. Performances will be at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 9, 15 and 16; and 2 p.m. Oct. 10 and 17.

We Are the Willows

Minneapolis based singer/songwriter Peter Miller brings his indie rock band We Are the Willows for a 7 p.m. Oct. 15 concert in the Chalberg stage at Central Lakes College in Brainerd, as part of the Central Lakes Community Performing Arts Center’s Cultural Arts Series.
