RATT — the American heavy metal band formed in the late ‘70s from California — will be the headliner for rock night at Lakes Jam 2020 at Brainerd International Raceway in Brainerd, organizers announced Wednesday, Nov. 27.
Lakes Jam, a three-day outdoor music festival, is scheduled June 25-27, 2020, and is being presented by The Babinski Foundation. The festival will be entering its eighth year as it pairs three nights of multi-genre music with the camping experience at BIR.
RATT will perform at 10 p.m. June 25 on the Bud Light Main Stage. Leading up to the rock night headliner is Autograph at 2 p.m.; Kip Winger at 4 p.m.; Slaughter at 6 p.m. and Jackyl at 8 p.m.
Single day passes for Lakes Jam are $69 until 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3, then they will go up to $89. Passes available at LakesJam.com/tickets.
Lakes Jam organizers also announced its Wednesday night, June 24, 2020, pre-Lakes Jam party lineup titled “Tribute Wednesday,” presented by Viking Coke. Hairball will be the headliner performing at 9 p.m. on the main stage in the concert bowl at BIR. The Crown Jewels, A Tribute to Queen, will be the opening band for Hairball.
Hairball gives audience members an experience they won’t forget, organizers stated. Hairball members are in costume and use lights, sound, smoke, fire and bombs as part of their high energy show.
New this year, the general public can attend with a Wednesday general admission pass for $29. Wednesday campers are welcome to join the party as usual with their Wednesday camping pass. Gates open at 5 p.m., with the secondary stage starting at 5:30 p.m. and firing up again between main stage acts and at 11:15 p.m.
