Organizers of Iconic Fest 2020 announced Friday, May 15, that the two-day outdoor concert will not happen this summer
The event is rescheduled to next year with the same line up. Iconic Fest will be July 9-10, 2021, at Green Lantern, east of Brainerd.
“It is with deep disappointment that we are announcing the postponement of Iconic Fest this year until 2021,” stated Carolyn and Erik Huff of Iconic Fest/Huff Entertainment Solutions in a news release. “With the current government restrictions and safety concerns for large group gatherings of this size due to the COVID-19, it will no longer be possible to host this year’s annual event. We tried to hold out as long as possible with this decision as we know there will be many customers who are as disappointed as we are but there is a certain amount of time needed to be able to properly execute this event by July 10th-11th and, unfortunately, we’re inside that window. With so many unknowns regarding safety and restrictions, we felt this was the right decision for everyone involved.”
The Huffs said each artist on the schedule for 2020 has agreed to appear in 2021, so the line-up will remain the same. Tickets will be re-issued to all current ticket holders for the 2021 event.
Tickets purchased at the Green Lantern may be exchanged for 2021 tickets from Sept. 1-30.
Tickets purchased online through the ticketing company will automatically be re-issued June 1. For those who bought tickets online and their email or mailing address changed, they are asked to email their correct information to Carolyn Huff at email@example.com.
The 2021 line-up

“We love our Iconic Fest customers, sponsors, volunteers and artists so much and this annual event is definitely a highlight for us,” Carolyn Huff stated. “We know that another 2020 event cancellation is disheartening but we have faith that 2021 will be bigger and better when we can all be together again swaying to the iconic music that graces our stage, enjoying drinks, food, laughter and love all under the summer sun. Thank you so much for your support over the last 5 years and what would have been our 6 th this year.”
