Kelly Boldan has been editor of West Central Tribune and Wctrib.com in Willmar, Minnesota, since October 2001. He joined Forum Communications Co. in November 1998 as editor of the Bemidji (Minn.) Pioneer.

Kelly previously was editor of Agri News in Rochester, Minn., the editor/publisher of Country World in Sulphur Springs, Texas, and a copy editor/reporter at the Sulphur Springs (Texas) News Telegram, an assistant editor of The Land in Mankato, Minn. and intern reporter/freelancer at The Country Today in Eau Claire, Wis.
He has a master's in business administration from the University of St. Thomas, a bachelor’s in print journalism and agriculture from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, and an associate in rural communications from the University of Minnesota-Crookston.
Kelly grew up in Leader, Minn., and graduated from Motley (Minn.) High School. He served as editor of his high school newspaper for a year and editor of the high school yearbook for two years. Active in FFA, he served as a local, district and regional officer, and earned his American Farmer Degree. He was also a four-sport letterman in football, track and field, baseball and basketball.
He is a family historian and genealogist.
Kelly is married and lives in Willmar. Their adult son lives in Salt Lake City and works at the University of Utah Medical School and with Utah Hockey.
He speaks English.
