Open Forum - David Blair re: loud music at Brainerd International Raceway. County Sheriff will call owner. Barrows/Franzen - to approve minutes of 08/23/22 regular County Board meeting. Motion Passed [Unanimous] Franzen/Brekken - to approve agenda of 09/13/22 regular County Board meeting. Motion Passed [Unanimous] Franzen/Barrows - to approve consent agenda. Motion Passed [Unanimous] Koering/Franzen - to authorize use of Solid Waste Fund monies to abate property located at 29111 State Hwy 6, Crosby (PID# 85210504 & 85210505) with qualified & awarded contracted private company; assess cost of clean-up to property. Motion Passed [Unanimous] Barrows/Brekken - to authorize emergency replacement of hot water heater at Central Services for approximately $20,000, to be paid from CIP Fund. Motion Passed [Unanimous] Board convened as Town Board for Unorganized Territory Second Assessment District for Nelson Preserve Cartway Contested Hearing at 9:15 AM. Testimony was heard. Koering/Barrow - acting as Town Board for Unorganized Territory Second Assessment District, reaffirmed previously selected Route 2 as it pertains to & crosses over Keith Unger’s land. Motion Passed [Unanimous] Koering/Franzen - acting as Town Board for Unorganized Territory Second Assessment District, to set damages at $15,000 for Keith Unger. Motion Passed [Unanimous] County Attorney will prepare Resolution: AN ORDER ESTABLISHING CARTWAY & AWARD OF DAMAGES for adoption at next Board meeting, along with notification of damages paperwork. Koering/Brekken - acting as Town Board for Unorganized Territory Second Assessment District, to set damages for County staff time & expenses at $2,500 for total damages determination of $17,500.
