Matt Massman, Nancy Silesky & Steve Novak from Minnesota Inter-County Association (MICA) gave an overview of 2020 legislative session & future outlook for Minnesota counties.
Brittany Goerges, Crow Wing County Master Gardener Program Coordinator, gave update on Master Gardener Coordinator position & program efforts.
Brekken/Franzen - to approve petition of MC2 INVEST LLC - Kevin McDonald - for Preliminary Plat of Gateway Storage consisting of 6 total lots involving approximately 1.1 acres located on Lot 5, Block 1 of Northland Acres Plat, Sec 30, Ideal,
based upon findings of fact & conditions on file. Motion Passed [Unanimous]
County Attorney updated Board on re-opening of Judicial Center.
County Administrator reported on behalf of Senior Management Team.
Franzen/Barrows - to approve reappointment of Gary Griffin, Land Services Director, assigning authority & duties of Crow Wing County Assessor for four-year term starting 01/01/21. Motion Passed [Unanimous]
Accepted resignation of Keith Simar from Natural Resources Advisory Committee & prepare Certificate of Appreciation for his service to Crow Wing County; advertise for vacancy.
Franzen/Barrows - to appoint Richard (George) Burton as District 1 representative on Crow Wing County Housing & Redevelopment Authority to fill term expiring 12/31/22; prepare Certificate of Appreciation for Theresa Goble for her
service to Crow Wing County. Motion Passed [Unanimous]
