Houge/Brekken - to approve consent agenda. Motion Passed [Unanimous]
Brekken/Franzen - to set public hearing for 02/23/21 at 9:05 AM re: amendment to ATV Ordinance. Motion Passed [Unanimous]
Brekken/Houge - to authorize entering into MOU with Crow Wing Soil & Water Conservation District for specific services to be performed by SWCD on behalf of County, as on file, not to exceed $5,000, effective 01/01/21-12/31/21. Motion Passed [Unanimous]
County Sheriff & Emergency Management Director gave update on drone program.
County Administrator reported on behalf of Senior Management Team.
Chair reappointed Teresia Mortenson as District 2 representative on Community Health Services Advisory Committee for term expiring 01/31/23.
Houge/Koering - to authorize Chair to send letter to area legislators asking that any further COVID resources that become available for our local businesses & non-profits be coordinated through Crow Wing County instead of State. Motion Passed [Unanimous]
Franzen/Houge - to recess regular session & convene to closed session for purpose of labor negotiation strategy at 10:03 AM. Motion Passed [Unanimous]
Franzen/Houge - to recess closed session & reconvene to County Board meeting at 10:24 AM. Motion Passed [Unanimous]
Houge/Brekken - to authorize entering into Labor Agreement with Minnesota Teamsters Local #320 (Social Services Unit), effective 01/01/21-12/31/23. Motion Passed [Unanimous]
Houge/Brekken - to accept Settlement Agreements with LELS Local #13 (911 Communications Officers) & LELS Local #14 (Deputies) re: holiday pay in current contract period. Motion Passed [3 to 2], Franzen & Koering nay.
