Crow Wing County Short-Term Rental Licensing Ordinance - County Attorney gave update on committee's work.
Franzen/Barrows - to approve Resolution for Crow Wing County to act as Legal Sponsor for Sand Creek Bridge Project. Motion Passed [Unanimous]
Houge/Barrows - to authorize County Attorney’s Office to initiate unlawful detainer action against current occupants of tax forfeited property (53190518). Motion Passed [Unanimous]
Barrows/Houge - to authorize entering into "You are Not Alone" Outpatient Substance Use Disorder Program contract. Motion Passed [Unanimous]
Barrows/Brekken - to approve Addendum to 2019-2021 Memorandum of Agreement with University of Minnesota to provide $37,628.00 for 0.50 FTE Program Coordinator for Master Gardener Program. Motion Passed [3 to 2], Franzen & Koering nay.
Houge/Brekken - to authorize Crow Wing County Finance Director & Senior Business & Finance Analyst to attend GFOA Annual Conference May 17-20, 2020 in New Orleans, LA. Motion Passed [Unanimous]
Franzen/Barrows - to authorize entering into Agreement with Brainerd Jaycees for law enforcement services during $150,000 Ice Fishing Extravaganza. Motion Passed [Unanimous]
Barrows/Franzen - to approve Addendum to Medical Services Agreement with MEnD Correctional Care, PLLC to provide additional 16 hours per week of mental health services to inmates. Motion Passed [Unanimous]
County Administrator reported on behalf of Senior Management Team.
Barrows/Franzen - to authorize entering into Joint Powers Agreement between Counties of Benton, Cass, Crow Wing, Kanabec, Mille Lacs, Morrison, Pine, Stearns, Todd, Wadena, & Wright for Central Minnesota Emergency Medical Services Region Board. Motion Passed [Unanimous]
Chair appointed Dan Hegstad as District 3 representative & Cindy Nathan as at-large representative on Natural Resources Advisory Committee, with both terms expiring 01/31/22.
Chair appointed PSAP Supervisor Scott Heide to Northeast Minnesota Regional Advisory Committee as delegate from Crow Wing County & Emergency Management Director John Bowen as alternate.
County Engineer gave update on recent weather event.
