Troy Scheffler addressed Board re: concerns with government. Doug Kern addressed Board re: 2000 Mules documentary film re: voter fraud in 2020 election. Koering/Barrows - to approve minutes of 05/10/22 regular County Board meeting. Motion Passed [Unanimous] Franzen/Koering - to approve agenda of 05/24/22 regular County Board meeting. Motion Passed [Unanimous] Franzen/Koering - to approve consent agenda. Motion Passed [Unanimous] Public Hearing to vacate Wunder Road was removed from agenda as statutory publication requirements were not met. Barrows/Franzen - acting as Town Board for Unorganized Territory First Assessment District, scheduled Public Hearing to be held on 07/26/22 at 9:05 AM re: vacating Wunder Road. Motion Passed [Unanimous] Barrows/Koering - to approve Resolution re: Crow Wing River One Watershed, One Plan Project in Crow Wing County. Motion Passed [Unanimous] County Sheriff reminded Board & public that they can get emergency alerts & optional community alerts by signing up for Crow Wing County Emergency & Community Alerts program available on County’s website. County Administrator reported on behalf of Senior Management Team. Board convened as Town Board for Unorganized Territory Second Assessment District for Nelson Preserve Cartway Contested Hearing. Environmental Services Supervisor presented Board with estimate of damages as calculated by County Staff, as on file. Testimony was heard. Koering/Franzen - acting as Town Board for Unorganized Territory Second Assessment District, tabled these proceedings until 06/14/22 at 10:00 AM where County Board may reconsider route & award damages based on input received so far.
