NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that on March 1, 2021, Brainerd Public Utilities (Applicant located 8027 Highland Scenic Road, Brainerd, MN 56401) filed a Final License Application (FLA) with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) as part for the Integrated Licensing Process for the continued operation of the Brainerd Hydroelectric Project located in Crow Wing County, Minnesota, on the Mississippi River, in the City of Brainerd and the townships of Center, Irondale, Oak Lawn, and West Crow Wing. The project is an existing dam generating 5 megawatts or less. A copy of the public portions of the application are available on BPU’s relicensing website (http://bpu.org/our-services/electric/hydro/). Documents are also available from FERC’s e-library system (https://www.ferc.gov/ferc-online/elibrary) by entering Docket Number P-2533. Upon acceptance of the application for filing, FERC will publish a subsequent notice soliciting additional public participation in the relicensing process.
