Franklin Graham's call to prayer
Franklin Graham has called everyone across the world to pray on Sunday, June 2.
Intercessory prayer will be 2 p.m. Sunday, June 2, by the grandstand at Gregory Park, 511 N. Fifth St., Brainerd.
The group will gather to pray for God's will to be done in the lives of all the people of His world, especially all the government leaders, especially in the United States of America. The group will be praying 1 Timothy 2:1-6 and 2 Chronicles 7:14.
Bring a lawn chair, Bible and a friend.

Bethel Lutheran Church service
Pastor Jeff Macejkovic will lead the service and deliver the message during the 9 a.m. Sunday, June 2, worship service at Bethel Lutheran celebrating the seventh Sunday of Easter.
Coffee fellowship will follow at 10 a.m.
Bible study will resume 6:30 p.m. June 10 in the fellowship hall.

VBS Power Up planned
Park United Methodist Church will have Vacation Bible School Power Up June 17-19.
Dinner for children and parents, kids age 2 years to seventh grade, will be 5 p.m.
There will be games, crafts, science, music and class time will be 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Bethlehem Lutheran Church to host pick up choir
Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 418 Eighth Ave. NE, Brainerd, will host a pick up choir 9 a.m. Sunday, June 2.
Everyone is invited to arrive at 8:25 a.m. in the sanctuary (no stairs). The choir will practice one piece and sing it at the 9 a.m. service. Bring a family member, friend, neighbor or coworker. After the service, goodies will be served in the Narthex during a time of fellowship.
First Lutheran Church activities
The following students celebrated confirmation recently at First Lutheran Church: Alison Rich, Allyssa Giza, Jessie Strangstalien, Joni Jensen, Kamden Bade, Matthew Villnow, Melissa Bachman, Noah Day, Sam Hagen and Walter Lusti.
Now through Labor Day, there will be one worship service at 9 a.m.
There will be a folk service Sunday, June 2, with Holy Communion. Kloi Neyens will play her flute and Pastor Nate Lundgren will be the guest preacher.
Summer Sunday school will begin Sunday, June 2. All children ages birth and up are welcome.
While parents are worshiping in the sanctuary, children will experience worship also, but differently. Immediately following the children's sermon, summer Sunday school will begin in the nursery across from the sanctuary. Leaders will read a story and interact with children, then during the sending song, they will proceed downstairs to Koinonia Hall where they will make a craft and enjoy a snack. Leaders are Melissa Richards, Kim and Melissa Bachman and Galina Weber. No registration is necessary.
Game night is 6 p.m. Friday, May 31. Bring a favorite game and an appetizer to share. Games will be available as well.
Miraculous Mission vacation Bible school set at South Long Lake Church
South Long Lake Church will host Miraculous Mission Vacation Bible School 6-8 p.m. June 24-28 at 13152 Smart Road.
Vacation Bible School is set for children ages 4-12.

Outdoor gospel concert set
MALMO-The Paul Family Bluegrass Band will present a concert 7 p.m. Saturday, June 1, at the Malmo Evangelical Free Church.
The Paul Family Bluegrass Band is a family of seven. Many of their songs feature a traditional bluegrass sound while others have been described as a "newgrass."
Come as you are and bring a lawn chair to enjoy the music in the outdoors. In case of rain or excessive heat, the concert will be inside the air-conditioned church. Refreshments will be available and a free will offering will be received.
