Breakfast served at Hackensack Legion
HACKENSACK — Hackensack American Legion Auxiliary Unit No. 202 will serve breakfast 8:30-11:30 a.m. Nov. 17, at the Club.
Menu includes choice of biscuits and gravy with eggs or French toast with eggs and bacon. Both include juice and coffee for $6. The proceeds go to support youth scholarships.
Xi Chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa to meet Monday
The Xi Chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa will meet at 4:15 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11, at the Crossing Arts Alliance.
Lisa Jordan, executive director of The Crossing Arts Alliance, will present the program. The altruism project is donations for Mid-Minnesota Women's Shelter of personal products and Christmas gifts.
Ray’s Promenaders to square dance
Ray's Promenaders Square Dance Club will dance 7:30-10 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15, with Roger McNeil calling, at The Center.
Theme is scarf night and the Ortons will be hosting.

Join CRMC and Smiles for Jake at the Brainerd Legion, 708 Front St., Brainerd, for a free Veterans Day breakfast Monday, Nov. 11.
Breakfast will be served at 8 a.m. followed by a brief program honoring all who have served.
A bus to the Veterans Day ceremony at 10 a.m. at the Brainerd High School will be available at 9:30 a.m. for any who wish to attend.
Jack and Jill Bingo will be 6 p.m. Wednesday.
The Minnesota Darkhouse and Angling Association will meet 7 p.m. Wednesday.
The special Friday dinner will be steak tips for $12. Walleye will be available for $11.50. Serving begins at 5 p.m.

Fundraising for cystic fibrosis set
To raise money for cystic fibrosis, a group will be bagging groceries 4-6 p.m. Nov. 25-27 at Super One.
Senior dances will be 1-4 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, at Motley Ten-Hi with music by Frank and Fran; 1-4 p.m. Wednesday at Waukenabo with music by Frank and Fran; 1-4 p.m. Friday at the Deerwood Legion with music by Country Ramblers; and 1-4 p.m. Nov. 16 at the Aitkin Legion for music jams.
Bemidji State University Brainerd Area Alumni Event planned
Game night for the Bemidji State University Brainerd Area Alumni will be 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, at Shep’s on 6th, 315 Sixth St., Brainerd.
Join the BSU Brainerd Lakes Alumni Chapter for socializing and fun. Alumni and friends are welcome. There will be bar bingo, trivia and prizes. Pizza and snacks will be served.
