Xi Chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa to meet
The Xi Chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa will meet 4:15 p.m. Monday, Jan. 13, at the Brainerd Public Library.
The program is "Off the Wall." Members may bring an item that has special meaning for them. The altruistic project is Food Shelf donations.

The Brainerd Eagles Club will serve breakfast 8:30 a.m. to noon Sunday, Jan. 12, at 124 Front St., Brainerd, featuring the Eagles’ special for $8.

Alpha Chapter No. 23 OES will meet 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 13, at the Masonic Hall.
Lunch will be 12:30 p.m. at Northwind Grill.

BAXTER — The Washington High School Class of 1967 will meet for lunch at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 17, at Black Bear, 14819 Edgewood Dr., Baxter.
Taco bar fundraiser set for Scooby’s Animal Mission
AITKIN — Scooby's Animal Mission will be having a taco bar fundraiser 5-7:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 17, at the Aitkin Moose Lodge.
Cost is $10. Many adoptable animals will be there. All animals are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered.
Sons of Norway meeting planned
The Sons of Norway Sagatun Lodge of Brainerd will have a social meeting 10 a.m. Jan. 18 in the fellowship hall at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1420 S. Sixth St., Brainerd.
The festivities will begin with a brunch prepared by Doug Johnson and his committee beginning at 10 a.m.
The program will follow and feature Sagatun member Sharon Carlson who will do a presentation on “The Gentle Art of Swedish Death Cleaning.”
Brainerd Legion upcoming events
On Monday, Jan. 13, the Legion Riders will meet at 7 p.m.
The special dinner for Friday will be Swedish meatballs for $10. Walleye dinner is also available for $12. Serving begins at 5 p.m.
Nisswa Women’s Club to meet
The Nisswa Women’s Club will have its monthly luncheon meeting Thursday, Jan. 16 at Northern Cowboy.
Social time begins at 11:30 a.m. followed by lunch being served at noon.
Bob Passi will present the program: “Make This Your New Year’s Resolution - Climate Reality Project Outlining Actions We Can Take to Save Our Planet.”

HACKENSACK — Hackensack American Legion Auxiliary Unit No. 202 will serve breakfast Back to Hack Weekend 8:30-11:30 a.m. Jan. 19 at the Club.
Menu includes a choice of biscuits and gravy with eggs or French toast with eggs and bacon. Both include juice and coffee for $6.
The proceeds go to support youths’ scholarships.
