DEERWOOD — Ruttger’s Bay Lake Lodge will host the fourth annual Beer and Bacon Bonanza: The HAMdemic edition Friday and Saturday, June 19-20.
This celebration of bacon and beer includes a pork feast “pignic” with a beer event featuring a collection of Minnesota craft beers, a concert from Betty and the Noise, a special Moonlight Movie Night showing of “Strange Brew” and a collection of fun and games, including a pork belly flop contest, a Mr. Bacon pageant and a beer and bacon mile relay.
“There is going to be a lot of beer, bacon and fun,” Ruttger’s President Chris Ruttger stated in a news release. “And we will do it all while social distancing and following all the rules. Who says you can’t follow the rules and still have fun?”
The public can purchase a Whole Hog Pass that admits them into all beer and bacon events for $25 per person for adults and $15 for children 17 and under.
Space is limited and people must purchase a Whole Hog Pass in advance to allow for social distancing and to be in compliance with state orders and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines.
