In his role as a United Nations Messenger of Peace on climate change, DiCaprio meets with political, business and religious leaders advocating action to counter the effects of climate change.

Among the leaders featured in "Before the Flood" are Pope Francis, former UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon, former Miami Beach Mayor Philip Levine, Sierra Club Executive Director Michael Brune, conservative economist Gregory Mankiw, and entrepreneur and innovator Elon Musk.

After the film presentation, there will be a discussion of the film and how to strengthen the local environmental movement.

The "Before the Flood" film presentation is hosted by Brainerd Lakers United for the Environment, the Brainerd High School Eco Club and MN350, the Minnesota affiliate of the national environmental organization 350.org.
