The Crossing Arts Alliance announced people may bid on items for its annual “8x8” art fundraiser, which will be online.
People can visit 32auctions.com/8x8fundraiser to place a bid and may continue bidding through Sunday, Oct. 25. A person may have a chance to bid on an original piece of art in an online silent auction that will support the arts center.
In a news release, the art center stated: “For years, this event has provided an inspiring collection of art, music, wine, and food that aimed to bring the community together in the Gallery setting. This year, we will transition to an online platform in order to respect the social distancing restrictions and guarantee our community members a safe way to participate in this event which offers access to 8x8 pieces donated by our incredible local artists.”
All proceeds from this fundraiser will support The Crossing Arts Alliance's programs and initiatives, including the continued distribution of free Creativity Kits to our community members.
