Duluth-born bluegrass band 'Trampled by Turtles' booked for Hinckley gig

DULUTH - Trampled By Turtles, the Duluth-born bluegrass band that has attained a national following, will again headline a popular brewfest and concert event held annually at a Duluth-area casino, Twin Ports Nightlife announced Friday.

DULUTH - Trampled By Turtles, the Duluth-born bluegrass band that has attained a national following, will again headline a popular brewfest and concert event held annually at a Duluth-area casino, Twin Ports Nightlife announced Friday.

The Great Minnesota Taste-Together (formerly known as the Great Twin Ports Taste-Together) is an event that starts with a brewfest at 4:30 p.m. and ends with the concert, which starts at 8:30 p.m. Feb. 21 at the Grand Casino Hinckley Event Center. Communist Daughter opens the concert.

Tickets start at $40 and are available at Cash Wise Liquors, Dubh Linn Irish Pub, Carmody Irish Brew Pub and The Shack Liquor Store. They are also available at twinportsnightlife.com.

In past years, the event has been held at Black Bear Casino in Carlton.
