The second annual "End of Summer Bash" will be held Saturday at the Green Lantern in Brainerd and will feature Bed of Roses dubbed the No. 1 Bon Jovi Tribute band, plus local Brainerd lakes area favorite Junk FM.

The End of the Summer Bash is an outdoor concert and people can bring their lawn chair.

"The community has really come out and shown their support for these outdoor events and our plan is to keep making them happy with quality, fun live entertainment." said Carolyn Huff, owner of Huff Entertainment Solutions, the partner and promoter of End of Summer Lantern Bash.

This year gates open at 4 p.m. and Midnight Radio will kick the night off at 5 p.m.; Junk FM will take the stage at 7 p.m. for two sets; and Bed of Roses will take stage at 10 p.m. to perform all the favorite hits of Bon Jovi.

Huff said, "It's definitely going to be a night of high energy performances. There will also be plenty of parking in the surrounding area, plenty of bathrooms, plenty of beer, good food, think Porky Fries, and even camping for those who want to stay all night."

Bed of Roses is the only tribute band to portray the entire history of Bon Jovi from the 80s, where it all began, to today. Bed of Roses, is an international established Bon Jovi Tribute Act and has toured throughout North America and abroad with visits to the UK and Central America.

The show is a 2.5-hour tribute to Bon Jovi performed in authentic costuming, voice, music and showmanship. With more than 12 costume changes throughout the show, Bed of Roses takes music lovers on a journey of the entire 25 year history of Bon Jovi.

Front man Darryl Clayton is a stage performer with a voice that has often been compared to Jon Bon Jovi. He has studied voice with Roy Petty and Juno Award winner Cindi Cain. Somewhat quiet and modest off stage, people are always shocked when he bursts onstage and works the audience into a frenzy. An extremely dedicated bandleader, over the years he has evolved to cover a diverse repertoire that features everything from classic rock to dance and funk. His ability to sing such a wide range of styles, his determination and strong work ethic accounts for his success in and around Winnipeg and southwest Ontario where he is almost always booked at one of the top clubs or social and charity events. He has also opened for such rock legends as Trooper and Harlequin.

Junk FM delivers an infectious high energy show by a crack team of musicians/performers who "just wanna' see how ridiculous the dancefloor can get over the course of the night." From Garth Brooks to Lady Gaga to Eminem and Green Day, Junk FM plays a variety of music.

Concert tickets are on sale. Advance tickets are $10 each and are available online at www.huff-entertainment.com or at the Green Lantern and Cub Foods in Brainerd and Baxter. Tickets are $15 at the gate.
