MOORHEAD โ Another eight concerts are on tap for the Bluestem Center for the Arts in south Moorhead, with the likes of Bret Michaels, "Weird Al" Yankovic and Brandi Carlile all slated to perform this year.
During a press conference Wednesday, April 6, Trollwood Performing Arts School and events promoter Jade Presents unveiled the lineup for the 2016 Bluestem Summer Concert Series, which is presented by Dakota Magic Casino and The Forum of Fargo-Moorhead.
Jade Presents had previously announced two shows for this summer, a Wednesday, Aug. 10, concert by Boyz II Men with En Vogue and a return of the Happy Together Tour on Sunday, Aug. 27.
The newly announced concerts are The Sixties Sensation featuring Peter Noone of Herman's Hermits, The Fab Four and The Lovin' Spoonful, May 19; Lecrae and Switchfoot, June 11; Brandi Carlile with KT Tunstall, June 17; Dustin Lynch with Dylan Scott, June 19; 3 Doors Down, Aug. 7; "Weird Al" Yankovic, Aug. 12; Wilco with William Tyler, Aug. 14; Bret's Rock Fest with Bret Michaels, Ratt, FireHouse and Hericane Alice, Sept. 25.
