The Addams Family to set stage

The Aitkin High School Concert Choir will present "The Addams Family," April 5-8, in the high school auditorium. The musical opens with a matinee at 2 p.m. Wednesday and then will be performed at 7:30 p.m. April 6-8. Tickets purchased at the door or in the AHS District Office from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. or by calling 218-927-2115, extension 3431.

George Winston to perform

George Winston, a solo concert, 7:30 p.m. Friday, in the Chalberg Theatre at Central Lakes College. Winston also will present a piano workshop, 7 p.m. tonight, Music Rehearsal Room.

Fabulous Armadillos to perform

Great River Strings concerts

Great River Strings concert titled "Time Versus Eternity" to be held 7 p.m. April 22 at Salem Lutheran in Deerwood and then at 2:30 p.m. April 23 at First Lutheran in Aitkin. Prior to the concerts and during intermission the group will have their annual spring silent auction.

Dinner Theater

Spring dinner theater production of "Moon Over Buffalo," today through Saturday and April 6-8. Doors open with a social hour at 5 p.m., dinner at 6 p.m. and the show begins at 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online at www.greatart.org or in person at by phone at 320-632-0960. Prices start at $35 for individual or $280 for a table of eight. Tickets will not be sold at the door.

Grassroots Concerts series

Pierce Pettis, 7:30 p.m. April 7, Livewell Nightclub and Coffee Bar, Nisswa. Admission for general seating at all concerts is $10 at the door for adults and $5 for children younger than 12 with listening attention, when accompanied by an adult. At all shows, seating is first-come, first-served. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
