Spring musical coming
The Brainerd High School Theater Department will present its spring play "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat," at 7 p.m. Thursday-Saturday, May 2-4 and 2 p.m. Sunday, May 5, at Tornstrom Auditorium in Brainerd. Tickets may be purchased at the door an hour before the performance. Cost is $7 for adults and $5 for students.

'Night of Jazz'
The Pierz Music Department will present its second annual "Night of Jazz" fundraiser Friday at the Pierz Ballroom. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., music at 7 p.m. Pre-sale tickets are $20 for adults, $7 for students and are available from high school band students or from the Pierz School District office. Tickets at the door are $25 for adults and $10 for students.
