Neil Diamond tribute by Matt Vee
Celebrate the music of Neil Diamond performed by Matt Vee, and his family and friends with his “I Am … He Said” performance at 7 p.m. Jan. 21 at the Gichi-ziibi Center for the Arts on the campus of Brainerd High School.
With songs like "Cracklin' Rosie," "Song Sung Blue" and "Sweet Caroline," Diamond sold over 100 million records worldwide.
This nostalgic celebration stars Vee, nephew of the late 1960s pop star and teen idol, Bobby Vee.

Amanda Standalone with special guests Dave Virnala and Michael Strike
Amanda Standalone is a writer and folk musician from Minnesota. Her music is a soulful blend of acoustic folk/blues strongly influenced by American roots music. She is currently recording her third album, a concept album based on real life paranormal stories.
Dave Virnala began playing guitar at the age of 8. His influences include John Prine and Guy Clark. Virnala has performed at every Longest Night Music Festival at the New York Mills Cultural Center.

Brainerd Community Theatre
Brainerd Community Theatre presents a classic thriller “Wait Until Dark,” performing on the John Chalberg stage at Central Lakes College in Brainerd. Performances are at 7 p.m. Oct. 28-30.
