Ronny Cox to speak/sing

Ronny Cox will speak Saturday, Sept. 21, at the Ageless Expo -- Expo is from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Forestview Middle School in Baxter -- and then performs a 7:30 p.m. concert on the Chalberg Theatre stage of Central Lakes College, as part of the Central Lakes Community Performing Arts Center’s Cultural Arts Series. Grassroots Concerts series

Musician Dan Weber, a former National Park ranger, to perform at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 27 at the Live Well Nightclub and Coffee Bar in the Journey Church, next to the Nisswa Elementary School. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children under 12 with listening attention when accompanied by an adult. Seating is first-come, first-served. For more about Grassroots Concerts go to www.grassrootsconcerts.org . At each concert Grassroots welcomes a nonperishable food or cash donation to the local food shelf.
