Brainerd Public Library's Spring Used Book Sale, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today-Friday and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, the old Burton/Fiancée's Building at 323 S. Sixth St.

Golf Outing

The ninth annual Downtown Golf Outing, 11 a.m. Saturday in downtown Brainerd: American Legion, O'Neary's, Liquor Pigz, Shep's on Sixth, Yesterdays Gone, Last Turn, Iron Rail, VFW, the Elks, Ninth Street Bar, Pit Stop and TJ's Log Cabin. A $5 green fee, with all proceeds going to Kinship Partners.

Arbor Day fundraiser

Arbor Day Wine and Beer Tasting Fundraiser, 6-8 p.m. April 24, Northland Arboretum. Tickets are $35 in advance or $40 at the door. For tickets stop by the arboretum or call them at 829-8770.

Celebrations of Nations

Play Off the Page and Central Lakes College Theatre Department will host a children's theatre workshop for grades one through eight in Dryden Theatre. Classes are Thursdays through April 30.
