BRAINERD
Carpool Cinema at CLC
The Central Lakes Community Performing Arts Center continues its outdoor movie series with drive-up features on Thursday and Friday night. Licensing restrictions disallow use of the film titles in newspaper articles, but CLCPAC Director Patrick Spradlin described them this way: "Thursday's movie will follow the exploits of a green ogre and his talking donkey friend. This animated movie is for kids of all ages. Friday's film asks the eternal question: what would happen if an amusement park based on real, live dinosaurs went horribly wrong?"
Both movies will be shown at dusk, about 7 p.m. in the east parking lot on the Brainerd campus of Central Lakes College. Admission is $10/vehicle. Advance ticket purchase is highly recommended "so we know whether the event is a go," stated Spradlin. Tickets are available from the CLC Theatre Box Office at 218-855-8199 (box office hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays) or online at www.clcperformingarts.com .
