Writers conference and book fair

Brainerd Writers Alliance will host its annual writers conference and book fair, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Oct. 27, Rumbly Hall, 707 Laurel St. Cost for the conference is $25 and includes a buffet lunch.
