LITTLE FALLS — The Charles A. Weyerhaeuser Memorial Museum in Little Falls was closed through the month of October in order to have the heating, ventilation and air-conditioning system replaced.
The museum, which is owned and operated by the Morrison County Historical Society, depends on its HVAC system to provide a stable environment for the tens of thousands of collection items the organization owns as part of its mission to preserve and share county history.
While a large portion of the HVAC project was completed in October, there is still work to be done on the system, according to officials, so the museum will be open by appointment only for researchers during the month of November.
For those who want to view the exhibits, the museum will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 23 and 24. (Masks are required for all those visiting the museum.)
For more information, call the museum at 320-632-4007 or visit the society’s website at www.morrisoncountyhistory.org .
