The Crossing Arts Alliance will present the gallery's opening reception of the Young At Art Show from 3:30-6 p.m. Friday at The Crossing Gallery in Suite No. 114 at The Franklin Arts Center in Brainerd.
This show features art submitted by students from local schools. The exhibit gives young artists a chance to have their work exhibited in a real gallery and offers a chance for arts enthusiasts to show their support to the young artists.
Ten pieces of art are selected to be professionally matted and framed. These award winning pieces will then be on display at the Brainerd YMCA for the coming year.
This exhibit will be on display through April 21. The gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday with extended hours on Wednesdays from 4-8 p.m. and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. this Saturday.
