First Lutheran Church events planned
First Lutheran Church, 424 S. Eighth St., Brainerd, will celebrate the third Sunday after Epiphany with 9 a.m. worship Sunday, Jan. 23, in the sanctuary and online.
Immediately following worship, the 2022 annual meeting will take place. All eligible voting members of FLC are encouraged to attend and participate in the meeting. A vote on the 2022 budget will be taken. Members will also be approving nominations for council and leadership positions, at FLC, for the coming year.
Coffee fellowship, in Koinonia Hall, will follow the meeting.
Masks are required.
South Long Lake Church to host Al Klasky
Pastor Al Klasky will speak at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 23, at South Long Lake Church, 13152 Smart Road.

There will be a potluck lunch after the service followed by the annual church meeting.

First Congregational United Church of Christ services
First Congregational United Church of Christ will meet 10 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 23, for online and possibly in person depending on the COVID-19 spread.

This week at Trinity
Trinity Lutheran Church, 1420 S. Sixth St., Brainerd, will have three worship services this week.
On Wednesday, Jan. 19, worship service is at 6 p.m. with Pastor Bob Rusert preaching with Holy Communion being served. An evening meal will be served at 5 p.m. in Fellowship Hall.
The First Communion class will meet at 5:15 p.m. The sixth through eighth grade class will meet at 6:45 p.m. for workshop No. 8.

On Sunday, Jan. 23, there will be worship services at 8:15 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. with Holy Communion being served at both services. Pastor Bob Rusert will preach. The 8:15 a.m. service will be rebroadcast on KVBR 1340 Radio at 9:00 a.m. and livestreamed on YouTube.
The biannual meeting will follow the first worship service with President Andrew Larson presiding.
Education hour will meet at 9:30 a.m. in Fellowship Hall. Coffee will be served following the biannual meeting gathering area.
Bethlehem Lutheran Church events
Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 418 Eighth Ave. NE, Brainerd, will serve spaghetti Wednesday, Jan. 19, from 5:15-6:20 p.m. Cost is $7.
The Wednesday evening service with communion begins at 6:20 p.m. with Pastor Mark Skinner preaching. Catechism and high school youth group will meet at 7 p.m.
On Sunday, Jan. 23, the church will celebrate the Third Sunday after Epiphany with in-person services at 8:20 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. The 10:30 a.m. Sunday service will be livestreamed at www.facebook.com/bethlehem.brainerd . The service will be put on www.belcnet.net after its completion for later viewing. Sunday school will begin at 9:25 a.m. Sunday.
Men’s Bible study is 7:30 a.m. Tuesdays.
