Lord of Life Lutheran Church events

BAXTER — Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 6190 Fairview Road, Baxter, will have a virtual Christmas Eve candlelight worship service noon Thursday, Dec. 24, on YouTube and will be available to view any time after the premiere. Bethlehem Lutheran Church services

Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 418 Eighth Ave. NE, Brainerd, a communion service will be livestreamed at 3 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 24. Drive-in services with communion will be offered at 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Arrive early, stay in the car and park in the designated area. Pastor Mark Skinner will be preaching at all three services. Prelude for all of the services will begin 15 minutes prior to the start time.

On Christmas Day, a special service will be available for viewing on the Facebook page and website at 9 a.m. to celebrate the birth of Christ.

On Sunday, the church will celebrate the First Sunday of Christmas with a drive-in service of lessons and carols at 8:45 a.m. Arrive early, stay in the car and park in the designated lot.

All in-person services have been suspended due to the increase in case numbers. The church will continue to livestream the 10:30 a.m. services on Sundays at www.facebook.com/bethlehem.brainerd . The service will be on www.belcnet.net after its completion for later viewing.

South Long Lake Church services

Pastor Al Klasky will be preaching 9:30 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 27, at South Long Lake Church, 13152 Smart Road, Brainerd.

First Lutheran Church events

On Thursday, Dec. 24, First Lutheran Church, 424 S. Eighth St, Brainerd, will have Christmas Eve worship services, at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Thursday in the church parking lot which extends from the north side of Anderson Cleaners to Maple Street and from South Eighth Street to The Office Shop.

Pastor Patty Bjorklund will lead the worship services and deliver the sermons.

Worship will be 9:30 a.m. Sunday in the church parking lot. It will be a service of Lessons and Carols. Pastor Patty Bjorklund will deliver the sermon.

Those planning to attend the parking lot worship services should enter via South Eighth Street and follow the directions of the parking attendants. People with taller vehicles are asked to park in the back rows. Tune the radio dial to 97.7FM to hear and participate in the worship service.

This week at Trinity

Trinity Lutheran Church, 1420 S. Sixth St., Brainerd, will have five Indoor Christmas Services at noon, 2 p.m. (full), 4 p.m. (full), 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 24.

Pastor Paul Erdal will be preaching and assisted by Pastor Hans Anderson. Holy Communion will be served at all services. The 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. services will be broadcast live on KVBR 1340 and live streamed on YouTube and posted on Facebook and on the Trinity website.

The Sunday service at 9 a.m. will be Student Recognition Sunday. Members are encouraged to wear their school colors. There will be no Education Hour. Pastor Hans Anderson will be preaching.

There will be no Wednesday Evening worship services Dec. 23 and Dec. 30. Wednesday services will resume on Jan. 6 with a special service of Burning of the Greens. Persons wishing to offer real Christmas trees, garland or wreaths can leave them at the northwest corner of the church parking lot.
